This policy explains what TaxFlow Labs LLC collects and how we use it. TaxFlow is run by TaxFlow Labs, which provides the service with us; in this policy, “we” includes TaxFlow Labs.
What we collect
- When you book a call: your name, email, store website if you give it, where you stand with sales tax, and the time you pick. The booking is kept in our scheduling calendar, which sends you the invitation.
- Once you are a client, through the collaborator access you grant on your Shopify store: your sales and tax figures by state and the Shopify Tax reports we need to monitor nexus, prepare returns, and reconcile them.
- The state account details and filing records needed to register you and file your returns.
- When you use our contact form: what you write and how to reach you.
The free checker
The nexus checker reads your file inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded, and nothing in it is sent to us.
How we use it
To hold your call, prepare your quote, provide the services you approve, invoice you, and answer you. Our team is notified when you book a call or send a message, so a person can follow up. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the service, such as our scheduling, email, invoicing, and hosting providers, under agreements that limit their use of it; state tax agencies, when we register or file on your behalf; and anyone the law requires.
Keeping it safe
We only ask for the store and state account access the work needs. You can remove our collaborator access to your Shopify store at any time, which ends our access to it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account details and filing records while you are a customer and for as long as tax record-keeping rules require afterward, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information through our contact form. Some filing records must be kept for legal reasons even after you leave.
